The Ann Arbor Art Center offers classes, jobs, and volunteer opportunities in the arts, as well as services for artists, gallery displays, and art for sale.
The major function of the Gallery is to exhibit the widest range of creative talents from within the University. The exhibits can be either two- or three-dimensional, from art to engineering products, or computer-based interactive displays. Artifacts can be on pedestals (which we provide), free standing, or hung on the walls and from the unistrut ceiling structure.

The School of Art & Design offers four undergraduate programs: Our anchor undergraduate offering, the BFA in Art & Design, a BA in Art & Design for more academically focused students who also want to maintain a strong engagement with creative studio work, Dual Admission / Double Degree Programs with eight other university schools and colleges, and the new Interarts Performance BFA, jointly offered with the Department of Theatre and Drama. The School also offers a minor in Art and Design.
The School of Art & Design's exhibition program serves as the vital juncture between studio work and public dialogue, providing an important educational experience for students and a window through which members of the University and local communities become familiar with the work of students, faculty, and staff as well as a broader community of creative practitioners.
At the Scrap Box you will find a large assortment of unique materials which manufacturers and businesses would otherwise send to landfills: remnants, samples, seconds, and scraps. This good "junk" can be recycled into useful materials for art classes, learning games, science experiments, crafts and other expressions of creativity.
