After six months of renovations at Pierpont Commons, the new Fireside Café has opened offering a wide range of fresh and hearty foods and a dynamic dining room that provides a welcoming place to eat, meet and relax.

Out with the old and in with the new is the theme at Pierpont Commons as demolition is taking place of the old Commons Cafe. Space is being created to serve as a new, clean slate for the new Fireside Cafe that is expected to open for fall semester. Check back on the progress of the project as we post updates all summer long.
Exciting improvements are planned for the area around the Lurie Bell Tower, called the Grove!
As announced in the University Record, the university will invest $6.9 million to transform the open lawn area on North Campus into a vibrant destination spot for the university community.
The project, called North Campus Grove, was approved by the Board of Regents during its April 17 meeting.
Living on North Campus develops the skill of bus riding. There are six main U-M blue buses that service north: Pierpont, Bursley/Baits, Northwood, Northwood Express, North Commuter, and South Commuter. Learning the ins and outs of the bus system is crucial. Please ensure to give yourself 15-20 minutes in between classes and meetings on North and Central campus.

Conveniently located in the Duderstadt, Mujo Cafe wants to make it easier for students to operate on their own schedule in order to reach their full potential. Mujo is now open 24 hours Sunday through Wednesday.
