Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan seeks to improve the human condition through thoughtful design and planning for the built environment. Taubman College conducts innovative design and policy research and serves the community, the state, the nation, and the world through outreach and partnerships.
The University of Michigan's School of Art and Design is committed to fostering creativity not just among its students, but in the University as a whole and in the community. All of the courses in Art and Design are available to non-majors. Freshman and sophomore courses have spaces reserved specifically for non-majors.
Take the time to enjoy some of the many social and cultural events planned by university students and the University Unions through the Center for Campus Involvement. We offer a diverse array of activities including: Salsa and Swing Nights with FREE dance instruction, Film Nights, Jazz Jams and many more. Check the online events calendar for upcoming events. If you don't see what you're interested in, stop in with your ideas and help put together your own special program! We have offices in Pierpont Commons as well as the Michigan Union.
