Bentley Historical Library

Bentley Historical Library contains the Michigan Historical Collections and the U-M Archives, which were founded in 1935 and are open to the public. Historical information on Michigan and its citizens is contained in the library, which includes more than 4,500 archival collections, 58,00 printed works, over 10,000 maps, and nearly 1.5 million visual images. The materials are non-circulating and closed-stack, but you are always welcome to conduct research. Hours during the regular school year are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
