The Ann Arbor Art Center offers classes, jobs, and volunteer opportunities in the arts, as well as services for artists, gallery displays, and art for sale.

Ann Arbor District Library - Traverwood Branch

The Traverwood Branch of the Ann Arbor District Library serves as a community-based learning center that delivers superior customer service, primarily to the residents of the northeast quadrant of Ann Arbor.  The Branch houses an updated collection, consisting of traditional materials, such as books, magazines, and DVDs. Electronic resources include 24 computer terminals, 20 of which are located in an Electronic Training classroom, a laptop computer station with seating for nine people, and wireless internet access throughout the building.

Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA)

The AATA, a not-for-profit unit of government, operates the local public transit system for the greater Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti area. AATA enables the area's residents to reach their destinations at reasonable cost, and offers the region efficient, environmentally sound transportation alternatives.

Nestled between University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University at the intersection of Highway 23 and Washtenaw Avenue, Arborland Center is at the heart of Ann Arbor shopping. Nearly 30 national, regional and local businesses plus Hiller's, the area's premier supermarket, make this modern retail center a first choice for shoppers.  Notable tenents include Marshall's, Starbucks, Coldstone Creamery, Noodles & Company, Old Navy, Michael's, Bed Bath & Beyond, and more.

Barnes & Noble serves as the Pierpont Commons campus bookstore.  It is located on the main level and offers college textbooks, best sellers, educational supplies, and some dorm supplies.

Beanster's Sandwich & Coffee Cafe

Beanster's Café is located on the ground floor of Pierpont Commons. We offer a wide variety of espresso drinks, coffees, and refreshments, as well as delicious salads and sandwiches. Stop by and grab a cup of coffee, and check your e-mail at the computer station located right across from the Beanster's counter. Beanster's also has a location in the Michigan League.

Bentley Historical Library

The Bentley Historical Library was established in 1935 by the University of Michigan Regents to carry out two functions: to serve as the official archives of the University and to document the history of the state of Michigan and the activities of its people, organizations and voluntary associations.
